1. Trader identification

Legal form: single-member limited liability company. Entered in the Commercial Register at the Registry Agency of the Republic of Bulgaria. Manager: Iliya Ivanov Kalchev.

2. Scope and who may order

These terms apply to every order placed through this website. By ordering you confirm you are at least 18 and have capacity to contract.

If you buy as a consumer (a natural person acting outside trade or profession), you keep every mandatory right under Directive 2011/83/EU and the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act. Traders buying for business use are not consumers.

3. Products, prices and VAT

We sell fresh black and white truffles. Nature, season and harvest decide what we can ship. If a specific item cannot be supplied after you order, we will offer a comparable substitute or a full refund.

All prices are in euro (€) and include Bulgarian VAT at the applicable rate. FERA TARTUFI EOOD is VAT-registered (BG205718469). Shipping, if charged, is shown before you pay. The checkout page is the binding price offer.

4. Order, payment and contract

You place an order by adding items to the cart and completing checkout. The contract is formed when payment is successfully captured. We then send an email confirmation.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of a pricing error, suspected fraud, or unavailability; any sum already taken is refunded in full.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the EU member states offered at checkout. Dispatch days, packaging, timing and shipping costs are set out on the Delivery & Shipping page, which forms part of these terms.

Risk in the goods passes to you when the courier delivers to the address you gave, or to a person you authorised to receive the parcel.

6. No 14-day withdrawal for fresh truffles

Consumers who buy at a distance normally have 14 days to withdraw under Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 9 and the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act.

That right does not apply to goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 16(d); the same exception is transposed in Bulgarian consumer law). Fresh truffles are a perishable food with a short refrigerated life of a few days. Once a fresh-truffle order has been dispatched, the 14-day cooling-off right therefore does not apply.

This exception covers fresh truffles only. If we later sell non-perishable goods, the 14-day right will apply to those goods unless another legal exception does.

Your statutory rights if the goods are not in conformity (damaged, spoiled, or not as described) are not affected — see section 7 and the Returns & Refunds page.

7. Conformity, quality guarantee and complaints

If the truffles you receive are damaged, spoiled or not as described, you have the statutory remedies for lack of conformity under EU and Bulgarian consumer law (repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, as the case may be).

In addition, if you contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, we will replace the goods or refund you in full as a quality guarantee — you do not have to argue the legal classification first.

Write to hello@feratartufi.com. We reply within one business day. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days after we accept the claim.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that Bulgarian or EU consumer law does not allow to be limited.

Subject to that, and without reducing any mandatory consumer right, our liability arising from a particular order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

9. Intellectual property

The Fera Tartufi name, logo, photographs and site copy belong to FERA TARTUFI EOOD. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.

10. Law, complaints and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Bulgaria, without taking away any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
